A Kansas City lawyer who served on the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission under then-Governor Kit Bond is Governor Matt Blunt’s choice to be the new chairman of the commission. Bill Ringer, a native of Dexter, says he’s honored and humbled by the appointment. The three-member commission resolves disputes with workers compensation and unemployment compensation awards. Ringer’s appointment is subject to Senate approval.
