The Missouri women have not been good on the road against ranked Big 12 opponents. In fact they have been perfectly bad. Last night’s 87-44 loss to 23rd ranked Kansas State dropped MU to 0-23 all time against ranked conference foes away from Columbia. Mizzou was never really in the contest, as the Wildcats jumped out to a 39-15 lead at the half and continued to pour it on in the second half. LaToya Bond had 14 points and Tiffany Brooks added 13 to lead the charge for MU, but they were no match for Kendra Wecker and Laurie Koehn who scored 25 and 21 points respectively. Wecker added 12 rebounds to go with her big scoring night. Mizzou fell to 7-7 overall and 1-2 in conference play, while KSU improved to 11-3 and 2-1.
