Tigers Will Try To Keep Sutton From Tying Mentor Tuesday

January 11, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

The Missouri basketball team will square off with 6th-ranked Oklahoma State (11-1) tonight in Stillwater. Mizzou (9-5), which has won seven of nine games, is looking for its fourth win in a row.. OSU’s only loss this season is to Gonzaga, which Mizzou beat on December 30th. Gallagher-Iba Arena is one of the toughest places play in college basketball, but the atmosphere could be even more enthusiastic tonight as OSU head coach Eddie Sutton looks to tie former Oklahoma State coach Hank Iba for seventh place on the NCAA Division I career wins list. Sutton, who was coached by Iba, has 766 wins at Creighton, Arkansas, Kentucky and Oklahoma St. Tip off from Gallagher-Iba Arena is at 8 PM.
