Former Chiefs defensive coordinator Greg Robinson will be the next head coach at Syracuse according to a story in the Kansas City Star. Robinson spent the 2004 season as the defensive coordinator at the University of Texas. The Longhorns went 11-1 this season and beat Michigan in the Rose Bowl. He was fired by the Chiefs after a 38-31 loss to the Colts in the Chiefs opening playoff game. They failed to force the Colts to punt in that game and were 29th in total defense that season.
