Two Cape Girardeau parents have filed a wrongful death suit against their older daughter who was driving a car that crashed in 2001, killing a younger daughter. The lawsuit filed by Bobby and Lula McDonald against daughter April also names Shelter Insurance Company and the driver of another car involved in the crash. A lawyer says a court judgement is needed to collect an insurance settlement and get damages from the other car’s driver. The McDonalds claim the other car forced their daughter’s car off the road.
