Former Mizzou Back Damien Nash Enters NFL Draft

January 7, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

Former Missouri Tiger running back Damien Nash will enter the 2005 NFL Draft. A release from the Missouri athletic department said Nash “has received enough positive feedback with league experts to encourage him to go forward with his professional aspirations.” Nash left the Missouri football team just two days after the team’s season-ending win over Iowa State. Nash clashed with coaches during the season. He was suspended for one game after being critical of the play-calling in Mizzou’s loss to Oklahoma State. Nash rushed for 1,254 yards in the last two seasons. He led the Tigers this season with 792 yards rushing and seven touchdowns.
