SMS Drops Second Straight MVC Contest

January 6, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

Not much went right for the SMS Bears on Wednesday night. SMS shot just 29.6 percent from the field and struggled defensively in an 81-70 loss to Bradley. The Bears scored the first four points of the game, but Bradley responded with a 10-1 run, and didn’t let up en route to a 46-31 halftime lead. The Bears got back to within 13 points in the second half, but no closer. Marcellus Sommerville scored 22 points for Bradley. Sky Frazier led SMS with 19 points. With the loss, SMS falls to 7-4 overall, 1-2 in the Missouri Valley.
