Much of Missouri starts this day in an ice-box, with flash floods and slick roads. The National Weather Service says several areas still have a lot of high water and flooded streets and roads. Some areas are getting some light snow and snow flurries this morning but nothing much is expected out of that. But there are patches of black ice waiting for motorists, and the State Highway Patrol says many roads, especially in western and northern Missouri, are snow and ice covered, or at least icy. The good news is that we’ll be in the 40s by the weekend, the 50s in some places, and some parts of Missouri will see temperatures in the 60s next week.
