The Missouri Tigers were red-hot from beyond the arc on Tuesday. Mizzou sunk 10-of-22 three-point attempts in a 64-51 win over American. The Tigers actually made more three-point shots (10) than two-point shots (eight). Mizzou trailed 19-17 with just under 4:00 left in the first half, but finished the half on a 16-2 run. American pulled to within six points in the second half, but never got any closer. Thomas Gardner led Missouri with 14 points. Jason Horton scored 12 points. Jason Conley recorded his second straight double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Missouri improves to 8-5 on the season.
