After starting the season 0-7, UMKC picked up its first win of the season last night. The Kangaroos won their conference opener over IUPUI 77-61 in Indianapolis. Quinton Day led UMKC with 21 points. Three other Kangaroos finished in double figures. Mike English scored 16 points, Brandon Temple had 15 and Carlton Aaron scored 14. The Kangaroos host Southern Utah on Thursday.
