New Year Ushers In New Boating Law

January 3, 2005 By admin Leave a Comment

The new year has brought a new safe-boating law to Missouri. All Missourians who turn 21 this year and in years to come will have to pass a boating safety course before they can leagally operate a boat in Missouri. State Water Patrol Sergeant Ralph Bledsoe says many people who become 21 in 2005 already have had the course. He says the Patrol can set up the courses for communities if there’s enough interest. People taking the court have to pass an exam at the end before they get a certificate.
