The Missouri women’s basketball team enters 2005 on a good note. Sophomore Tiffany Brooks hit a turnaround jumper with just 5.9 seconds left, giving the Tigers a 58-57 win over Miami (OH) on Friday. Brooks led Mizzou in scoring with 16 points. LaToya Bond had 13 points for the Tigers, who improve to 5-5 on the season. Mizzou hosts in-state rival St. Louis on Sunday.
