New Regional Airline Planning St. Louis Flights

December 31, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

A new regional airline will start operating from Lambert-St. Louis Airport next summer. GoJet will be a regional feeder for United Airlines, which is in bankruptcy. A bankruptcy court has to approve the deal. GoJet has been organized by the parent company of Trans-States Airlines, which is a feeder for American. It will use 70-seat jets. Trans-States Holdings says it’s starting the ne airline so it can fly larger regional jets than it is allowed to fly under its contract with American. That limit is part of the pilots union agreement with American.
