The State of Missouri is now under a federal court order to issue clean water regulations that comply with federal law – or the Environmental Protection Agency will write the standards for the state. The order has been issued as part of a settlement between the Missouri Coalition for the Environment and the EPA. The Clean Water Act was passed 32 years ago.
