Spinks To Defend Undisputed Title In St. Louis

December 24, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

Undisputed world welterweight champ and St. Louis native Cory Spinks will fight in St. Louis for the first time in three years when he meets Zab Judah on February 5th at the Savvis Center. Spinks, who is the son of former heavyweight champion Leon Spinks and the nephew of fellow former heavyweight champion Michael Spinks, with a record of 34-2, with 11 knockouts. To make room for the fight, SLU agreed to move its game with DePaul on February 5 to February 6. This will probably kill attendance for the Billikens—that’s Super Bowl Sunday
