Supreme Court Refuses To Hear Sex Abuse Case Complaint

December 22, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

The State Supreme Court has refused to hear a case about whether it’s too late to prosecute a Catholic priest for sexually abusing a young parishioner in the 1970s. The Court agrees with a lower-court that there’s no statute of limitations on oral sodomy. The lawyers for the Reverend Thomas Graham say there will be no more appeals, that the case will go to trial. Graham is now 71. He has been removed from parish work with the church. He was accused two years ago of performing oral sex on a teenage boy in the rectory of the historic old Cathedral on the St. Louis riverfront.
