Two more members of Governor Holden’s cabinet are leaving. Economic Development Director Kelvin Simmons will leave January 7th, three days before Holden leaves office. He’s a former chairman of the Public Service Commission and ex-Kansas City councilmember. Simmons once was considered a candidate for State Treasurer but decided not to run. Also leaving is the head of the State Health Department, Dick Dunn. Dunn is leaving at the end of the month to go back to Springfield and work for the Council of Churches of the Ozarks.
