Johnson To Get First Start

December 16, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

Chiefs’ running back Larry Johnson will make the first start of his NFL career on Sunday when Kansas City hosts the Broncos. Johnson, who has been in head coach Dick Vermeil’s doghouse until recently, has finally proved why he was taken in the first round of the 2003 draft. With Priest Holmes out and Derrick Blaylock hobbled, Johnson has put together back-to-back 100-yard rushing performances. Blaylock is questionable for Sunday’s game with a knee injury.
