Education Board President Optimistic on Funding Problem

December 16, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

A lawsuit regarding problems with Missouri’s public school funding formula moves forward as state lawmakers prepare to try to solve those problems. Tom Davis of Kansas City says it appears as though the new Legislature and incoming Governor Matt Blunt are genuinely interested in addressing public education concerns, but it’s going to take time. Davis says it’s an extraordinarily difficult challenge because it’s a complex formula.
