Cell phone numbers would be added to the state’s No Call list under legislation filed for the upcoming session. Representative David Pearce of Warrensburg says more and more consumers are fielding telemarketing calls on their cell phones. And, unlike calls to the phone at home, these calls cost the consumer. Pearce notes that even if the consumer doesn’t have to pay for the telemarketing call, the call does eat into the consumers cell phone minutes.
