The Chiefs officially ended the season for Priest Holmes on Thursday by putting him on injured reserve. Holmes injured his right knee in a 34-31 loss to the Buccaneers on November 7. The Chiefs hoped Priest would be back in 2-4 weeks, but his recovery has been very slow. Holmes rushed for 892 yards and 15 touchdowns in eight games this season. At the time of his injury he led the NFL in touchdowns. The Chiefs will play the Titans on the road Monday night.
