The University of Missouri has forced the Internet auction site e-bay to pull two of the items that had been offered for sale for two days. They were metal signs from the Paige Sports Arena – the former name of the Mizzou Arena. The University says it still owns the signs. The person who offered them for sale says he got them as scrap metal from the maker of the signs. The University of Missouri, by the way, had hired a sign-making company in Lawrence, Kansas to make those signs.
