SLU Tops Troy For First Win

November 23, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

The Saint Louis University basketball team notched their first win of the season with a 63-55 win over Troy in the fifth place game of the Paradise Jam at St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Reggie Bryant had 16 points to lead the team in scoring—four Billikens finished the game in double figures. SLU held Troy to just 36% shooting and have held all three opponents to under 40% this season. That defensive prowess has been off-set by streaky offensive performances, as indicated by their 1-2 record.
