Johnson Wins Again, Two Missourians In Top 10 At Darlington

NASCAR Darlington on Sunday and Jimmie Johnson won for the fourth time in the last five races. With the win, he moved to within 18 points of leader Kurt Busch, who finished 6th on Sunday. Jeff Gordon is 21 points behind, with one race to go by finishing third. Joplin’s Jamie McMurray finished fourth on Sunday and grabbed his seventh top five finish of the season and his 22nd top ten. He will finish 11th in the point standings this year. It was another great run for Columbia native Car Edwards who grabbed his fifth top ten by finishing seventh yesterday. St. Louis native Rusty Wallace finished 18th at Darlington, Fenton native Ken Schrader was 30th, St. Louis native Mike Wallace was 38th.
