Traffic Crash Prompts Grandview To Stop High Speed Chases

November 8, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

Grandview has suspended high-speed chases by its police after a Leawood, Kansas teenager was critically injured when the car in which she was riding collided with a police car in hot pursuit of a stolen car. The driver of the car was injured as well, but not as seriously. The police officer also suffered non-serious injuries. No identities have been released. All high-speed chases have been suspended until a study of the chase this weekend is completed.
