Bikers Roll Into KC With Toys For Kids

The weather cooperated this year as 100 members of Freedom of the Road Riders roared into Kansas City, carrying toys for disadvantaged youth on their motorcycles. The group gathered at Blue Valley Park in Kansas City under clear, blue skies and warm temperatures. Many riders recalled years when the weather wouldn’t cooperate, including one when it sleeted. One rider says the group made its appointed rounds, even though riders had to wipe ice off their faces.
