The NCAA investigation is now over, and the Missouri Tigers can finally concentrate on basketball. Mizzou opened the brand-new Paige Sports Arena with a 100-73 win over Central Missouri State in exhibition play. Linas Kleiza led MU with 19 points. He scored the first points at Paige with a pair of early free-throws. Jason Conley had 14 points for Missouri, while Jimmy McKinney contributed 13. The game also featured the first ejections at the new arena. MU’s Marshall Brown and CMSU’s Mike Suggs were thrown out with a little over 4:00 left. The two players got into a scuffle after diving for a loose ball. Michael Hicks scored 21 points for the Mules, who actually outscored Mizzou 50-47 in the second half.
