The Kansas City Wizards played their first game of the Major League Soccer playoffs with a 2-0 road loss to San Jose on Sunday. Dewayne De Rosario scored just before the end of the first half and Craig Waibel scored in the second half to give the defending MLS champs a lead after the first leg of the series. The return leg will be at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. The team with the most goals after the two games will advance to the Western Conference Championship.
