MU Hoops Picked Fifth In Big 12

October 22, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

Last year, Big 12 coaches picked Missouri to win the conference title. The Tigers ended up finishing fifth. That’s where Mizzou is projected to finish this season. The 2004-2005 Preseason Big 12 Coaches Poll was released on Thursday. Kansas and Oklahoma State tied for first in the poll. Texas was picked third, followed by Oklahoma and Missouri. The Tigers went 16-14 last year and lost to Michigan in the first round of the NIT. Missouri opens the regular season at home on November 15. The Tigers face Brown University in the first round of the Guardians Classic.
