New Poll Gives Blunt Lead Over McCaskill In Governor’s Race

A new poll on the race for the Governor’s office gives Republican Matt Blunt the lead over Democrat Claire McCaskill. According to the Survey USA poll, conducted for KOMU-TV in Columbia and KSDK-TV in St. Louis, Blunt now has the support of 50-percent of likely voters polled, compared to 44-percent for McCaskill. Six percent of those surveyed said they were undecided. The poll of 670 voters was taken on Sunday and Monday.
