A study by Harvard University says Missouri had 39,000 problem gamblers last year. The study was paid for by the Kansas City Port Authority. The study says the greatest concentration of problem gamblers in is in the Kansas City area. St. Louis is next. A second phase of the study will look at the effectivness of the program that lets problem gamblers put themsvles on a list that lets casinos keep them from gambling.
