American Airlines To Bring Back Hundreds Of Flight Attendants

American Airlines has announced it will recall more than 600 furloughed flight attendants, but the recalls won’t include any former TWA employees. American says stronger international traffic and high-than-expected rates of attrition led to the recall. The recall, though, falls 100 spots shy on the seniority list of picking up any of the old TWA employees absorbed, then let go, when American bought TWA.
