Leaders of the Rockaway Beach casino proposal are gong to try again. The co-chairmen of the city’s gambling committee says they’ll have to wait until after the November election to learn how many petition signatures they’ll need – the number is based on voter turnout. They say they think the people who spent $15-Million on the losing proposition last month are still behind the idea.
