A proposal to lift the loss limit at Missouri’s casinos won’t come up for discussion before the start of the next session of the Legislature in January. But it will come up once the new session gets underway. Representative Bob Johnson of Lee’s Summit, Chairman of the Joint Committee on Gaming & Wagering, says additional revenues are needed to solve the financial needs of education, and the casinos will be expected to come up with some of that money. Players at Missouri’s casinos are currently allowed to lose a maximum of $500 per two-hour excursion.
