A central Missouri man has pleaded guilty to assault andpracticing medicine without a license by cutting off a man’s genitals nearly two years ago during crude “gender reassignment” surgery. Fifty-nine-year-old Jack Wayne Rogers of Fulton has been sentenced to 17years in prison for first-degree assault and seven years for illegalsurgery. Those sentences will run concurrently with each other and withRogers’ 30 year federal sentence in April for his guilty plea to child pornographyand obscenity charges. In 1992, Rogers was convicted of child pornographycharges in a separate federal case and served four months in prison. Rogersis also being investigated for a possible link to the case of a missing20-year-old man from Skidmore, for comments he posted online about torturingand killing the man. Branson Perry has been missing since April 2001. Anecklace belonging to him was found in a police search of Rogers’ property.
