Mizzou Prepares For Troy

September 9, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

The Missouri football team will get some national exposure tonight. The Tigers play at Troy this evening on ESPN 2. The game kicks off at 6:00. Mizzou opened the season with a 52-20 win over Arkansas State last weekend. Troy is coming off a 17-15 win at Marshall. Tonight’s contest will be the second meeting between the two schools. The Tigers pounded Troy 44-7 at Faurot Field in 2002. But this year’s game will be played in Troy, Alabama. The Tigers have struggled on the road under head coach Gary Pinkel, going 4-11 in the last three years. In addition, the Tigers are just 1-6 in their last seven games on ESPN networks.
