4th-Ranked SLU Crushes UMSL In Opener

September 2, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

SLU probably expected a win, but it would be hard for any team to imagine anything like what happened yesterday. The 4th-ranked Billikens trounced the University of Missouri-St. Louis, which is a Division-II school, 8-0 in their season opener. SLU lead 6-0 at the half and sophomore forward Will John (a graduate of Kansas City Rockhurst) had a hat trick. UMSL dropped to 0-3.
