Rickey Paulding was hoping for a chance to play basketball in his backyard, instead he’ll have to go half-way around the world to do it. Paulding, who hails from Detroit, was cut by the Pistons just a couple of months after they took him in the second round of this year’s NBA draft. He will play in a pro league in Israel. Paulding averaged 15.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game last season.
