President George W. Bush has been formally nominated as the Republican Party’s candidate for President. And, Missouri’s delegates to the Republican National Convention in New York gave the President their unanimous support. The call to stand and deliver came just a little before 8 pm New York time … and State Republican Party Chair Ann Wagner answered the call. She then turned the microphone over to Senator Christopher Bond to deliver the state’s 57 votes. President Bush formally accepts the nomination tonight.
