A truck driver carrying a load of cattle carcasses made a suddenstop in southwest Missouri and dumped some of the truck’s load last night. Officials in Republic say about 15 to 18 carcasses flew out ofthe trailer, which had an open top. The road was closed for about fourhours while workers used a donated backhoe to pick up the carcasses and putthem back into the truck. Workers then spread lime on the road to fight thesmell.
