Officials for a United States security firm in Afghanistan say a manfrom Bates City died in a car bomb explosion in Kabul this weekend. Fifty-seven-year-old Gerald Gibson worked for Dynacorp as a police adviser. Dynacorp provides bodyguards for Afghan president Hamid Karzai and is alsohelping to train Afghan security workers. The explosion killed about tenpeople, including a man from Arkansas and a man from Florida.
