Columbia native Carl Edwards drove the Roush Racing truck to a win last night in Bristol, Tennessee in the NASCAR Craftsmen Truck Series Wednesday night. He was able to distance himself from Shane Hmiel on a green-white-checkered restart. It was Edwards third win of the season on the truck series and it came just five days after making his debut on the Nextel series, where he finished 10th at Michigan International Speedway. He’s also expected to be behind the wheel of the No. 03 car in the Busch Series on Friday.
