Three young adults were killed in two separate crashes in St.Joseph early Tuesday morning. The victims range in age from 18to 20. 18-year-old Jason Hughes died when his car crashed after hefailed to make a turn. Police say he was driving about 80 miles per hour ina 25-mile-per-hour area. Hughes was found under the vehicle. A few hoursafter that crash, two young women were killed in a accident on U-S Highway 59. 19-year-old Holly Bradley of Kansas and Julie Shelton of DeKalb wereheading north when their vehicle crossed the centerline and was struck by asouthbound tractor-trailer. Police say wet roads contributed to that crash.The driver of the truck was not hurt.
