St. Louis police are asking women in the area to take extraordinary care until police learn more about two brutal rapes. Police found a 25-year-old woman last weekend badly beaten and sodomized. She is listed in serious condition at a St. Louis hospital where she has been placed in a medically induced coma. A 33-yeaar-old woman Friday was abducted while walking in St. Louis, beaten with a steering-wheel security device and sodomized. She is also listed in serious condition at a St. Louis hospital, but was able to speak to police about the attack. Police say they don’t know enough to know whether the attacks are related.
