August 21, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

The Texas Rangers had few hits on Friday night, but they made the most of them. The Rangers beat the Royals 5-3 in Kansas City. Texas had just four hits, but three were home runs. David Dellucci hit a pair of solo shots, one in the fourth and another in the sixth. Kevin Mench blasted a three-run shot in the fifth. Royals starter Mike Wood suffered the loss after giving up all three home runs.
