State Representative Charles Portwood of Ballwin will likely be charged today with drunk driving. Police arrested Portwood after witnesses said they saw him drive through a privacy fence and a pool house. Police booked him on suspicion of driving under the influence. St. Louis County prosecutors say they are waiting on lab tests before making a decision on any charges. Manchester police had refused to release the arrest report, until the St. Louis Post-Dispatch filed a formal protest.
