Missouri’s U.S. Senate race will see Republican incumbent Christopher Bond and Democratic challenger Nancy Farmer meeting a number of times but Farmer says only one of those meetings will be an actual debate. The pair will get together September 10th in Springfield, October 12th in Columbia, and October 21st in St. Louis. Farmer says that while Bond calls these events debates only the Columbia event is an actual debate. Bond says he’s willing to discuss any topic at any of the get togethers. He says that while he would like to accomodate Farmer with more debates, he’ll be busy in Washington and must work to pass important legislation before the Congressional session ends.
