The Mets scored two runs in the sixth, but the Cards rallied for two in the sixth, one in the seventh and three in the eighth. Albert Pujols led the offensive charge with three hits and two RBI. The Cardinals own a major-league best 70-38 record, and hold a 10.5 game lead over the Cubs in the N.L. Central.
