The big guys are coming. Right after the primary, the people at the top of the national tickets are going to be prowling around Missouri. Vice-President Dick Cheney will be in Lee’s Summit tomorrow. On Thursday and Friday, the Kerry-Edwards ticket makes its first post-convention swing through Missouri. Individual rallies are being worked out for tomorrow, then joint appearances Thursday and Friday. The big events will be Thursday noon in St. Louis, Thursday afternoon in Jefferson City, and Friday morning in Kansas City. The winners of Democratic primaries are to join the presidential ticket Thursday afternoon for a rally at the Capitol. Kerry is to be in Hannibal tomorrow afternoon. A campaign spokesman says they’re trying to work out details for Edwards to be in Cape Girardeau about the same time.
