Democrats And Republicans Ready To Offer Rides To The Polls

August 2, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

It’s Primary Election Day and a healthy percentage of eligible Missourians will be casting ballots. and, major political parties are doing their part to make sure the faithful get to the polls. The elderly, disabled, people without transportation … all might have trouble getting to the polls today. But the political parties are ready to help loyalists get out to vote. Paul Sloca with the State Republican Party says anyone needing a ride can contact the local party offices. Jim Gardner with the State Democratic Party echoes those thoughts, saying local committees or candidates are willing to offer assistance. Both Sloca and Gardner talk up the importance of voting … and say there is really no reason for anyone who wants to vote … not to vote.
